Fine Industries

Plan to have at least 70% of operations solar-powered
In 2007, amidst an economic downturn, Fine Industries embarked on a transformative journey in the UAE. The company, however, faced challenges with high operational costs and logistical difficulties due to the distance from raw materials. This prompted a strategic move to Ras Al Khaimah, specifically to RAKEZ’s Al Hamra Free Zone, where Fine Industries began its operations on a 5,000 m2 plot. This relocation was driven by the company’s focus on construction chemicals, specialising in dry mix mortars, which was deemed an ideal match for the industrial capabilities of Ras Al Khaimah. The support from RAKEZ during these initial years was instrumental, providing the stability needed to weather the economic slump and establish a foothold in the market.
“Our success is deeply rooted in the relationships we foster with our client partners, coupled with our commitment to providing cost-effective products that give them a competitive edge. We believe that their success is our success!”
Over the years, Fine Industries has seen remarkable growth. The company expanded its operations from the initial 5,000 m2 to 15,000 m2 and eventually moved to the Al Ghail Industrial Park. Today, it boasts a sprawling 40,000 m2 facility that includes raw material processing, finished goods manufacturing and packing, storage, and a Research and Development (R&D) lab too. Fine Industries has evolved into one of the UAE’s largest multi-line construction chemical toll manufacturers. This success can largely be attributed to the company’s strong relationships with clients and its commitment to providing cost-effective products that give them a competitive edge. Now, Fine Industries serves the world’s top construction chemical brands and exports products across the GCC, Africa, South Asia, Europe, and the USA. This expansion represents only “phase 1” of the company’s ambitious plans.
Looking ahead, Fine Industries is poised for further innovation and growth. The company is currently underway phase 2, which includes modernising infrastructure with a new material testing and R&D facility, upgraded warehouses, accommodations, and recreational amenities. These enhancements are in line with the growing and evolving market demands, positioning the company to add new product lines such as liquids, putties, adhesives, and more. Additionally, in alignment with the UAE’s commitment to sustainable and environmentally friendly practices, Fine Industries aims to be at least 70% solar-powered by 2025. This forward-thinking approach ensures that Fine Industries not only adapts to the changing industry landscape but also leads it by example.
