THE BEGINNING

Founded in April 2014, Al Mirage Perfumes emerged from a deep-seated passion for the art of fragrance. Guided by its visionary owners—Mohamed Iqbal Abdul Sattar, Murtuja Saleh, and Asif Iqbal—the company aimed to redefine the standards of the perfume industry.

Nestled in Ras Al Khaimah’s Al Hamra non-free zone, the company occupies a 60,000 ft2 space that houses its production facilities, offices, warehouse, and staff accommodations. After two years of rigorous market research, Al Mirage began operations in June 2016, offering a diverse range of products, from perfumes and bakhoor to deodorants and air fresheners. Serving markets across the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and Asia, Al Mirage quickly established itself as a name synonymous with high quality, customer satisfaction, and precision manufacturing.

However, like any new business, the early days were fraught with challenges. Developing a viable financial plan, building market recognition, and assembling a skilled team required resilience and strategic thinking. “Discovering our passion, understanding our market, and trusting a capable team to share our vision were key,” shared the founders. These lessons became the foundation of a company that prioritises innovation, excellence, and customer focus.
