EMIRATES ID REPLACES RESIDENCY VISAS IN PASSPORTS

Following the announcement of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security, the Emirates ID will serve as a proof of UAE residency, effective 11 April 2022.

From now onwards, passports will no longer be stamped with pink stickers and as such, you will not need to submit them to RAKEZ for residence visa related services such as stamping, renewal or amendment.

VIEW VISA DETAILS

To view your visa details, kindly follow the below-mentioned steps:

  1. Visit ICA website by clicking here
  2. Select the 'Passport Information' radio button
  3. Select either 'residency' or 'visa'
  4. Enter passport number and passport expiry date
  5. Enter nationality from the dropdown on the right
  6. A corresponding number will appear on the box on the left
  7. Select the captcha check box and click on search
  8. The page will display your visa details along with date of expiry

To get a copy of your visa and Emirates ID, download the ICA app on the App Store or on Google Play

When requesting a new or renewing your visa, avail our Emirates ID pick-up and delivery service for your preferred address without having the hassle of collecting it in person.
