8. A valid labour contract if the sponsor works in the private sector
9. Parent’s passport copy and a photo with a white background. The passport copy must be valid for a minimum of six months
10. Copy of latest visa  (tourist/visit visa or cancelled residence visa)
11. A national ID card is required for parents of Pakistani, Afghani and Iraqi nationalities

Step-by-step process to get residence visas for your parents:

Step 1: Obtaining Entry Permit:

a) Fill out the online visa application at the Government Services Portal and print the form
b) Submit the application to RAKEZ along with the required documents and payment
c) RAKEZ will apply to RAK Immigration and an e-visa will be issued once the approval is received
d) The applicant can use the e-visa for entry into the country or to apply for a status change if already inside

Step 2: Visa status change

a) Submit all required documents along with the payment to RAKEZ b) The application will be processed by RAKEZ and it will be submitted to RAK Immigration c) RAKEZ will email the e-visa with a status change stamp to the sponsor  d) The medical checkup of the dependents will be done and required documents will be submitted  Step 3: Visa stamping a) Submit all documents to RAKEZ and make payment b) RAKEZ will send the typed medical fitness form by email c) Visit one of the approved medical centres. Once the medical result is received, upload the result through RAKEZ Portal 360 d) RAKEZ will process the Emirates ID and residency approval. If biometric processing is required, you have to visit one of the EIDA offices.  e) Upon receiving a confirmation email from RAKEZ, access your visa and Emirates ID copies via the ICA app on the App Store or Google Play
