The UAE federal government has mandated health insurance coverage for all UAE visa holders. Starting from Wednesday, 1 January 2025 this mandate applies to all new visa applications and visa renewals.

This initiative aligns with UAE labour laws and health insurance regulations, demonstrating the government’s commitment to building a healthier and more inclusive society.
